went crazy with this one
was originally black and white pencil but i didn't like it so instead of erasing it i just colored over it
the design on his face is reminiscent of the designs on his '66 mini cooper.
i wanted to keep his eyes black and white so they'd stand out more and because the reference photo i used was a very early photo taken of him in Hamburg, Germany ( was about 16-17 in the photo) so they're a shout out to his early days with the beatles
the greenery and flowers are there cuz he was a big gardener in the later years and felt more connected to nature than to people.
was also a big follower of the hare krishnas and paid various homages to them in his music along with the whole eastern spiritualism
so there ya go
